Another week begins and we the people find ourselves lost in daydreams while we contemplate the monotony of the American work week. Maybe there's glory to be found in the mundane. Maybe the music that fills our heads with longing will somehow lead us home. Maybe years from now when we look back on those days dreamed we'll find that in all those little victories and losses, in order and in chaos, in the petty and the grandiose, something more was being orchestrated and our longings and yearnings were filling the pages of an invigorating novel, eloquently written and beautifully bound. This music is the sound of that hope.
